Step 2 is finished

Today I've finished Step 2 of TCT. I liked the software, althought some exercises(at least for Step 2) are so easy that leads to a blitz like mentality. When solving a lot of easy problems in a row you tend to go for the first thing you see because most of the time the answers *are* that simple.

I had a 91% success for this Step and will now start Step 3.

That problem will be solved at the higher levels. . .

DAM: I wish I had that problem of finding Step 2 too easy. Did you think all their answers were correct, or did you find any mistakes?

Blue Devil: I think(and I really mean *think*) there are errors, but didn't bother to check with a computer engine.

I believe the problems have been computer examined. There always is some reason for the right answer for everything I have taken to a chess engine.

... meaning taken from TCT with "copy PGN".

Ooh, that is a cool feature King! I'll have to use it when I doubt the wisdom of TCT. Usually when I enter the putative error into Fritz it shows me the error of my ways. TCT is reinforcing how much I suck at this game. :)

King of the Spill,

Just as example, take Step 3 Exercise 5b, #8, there's a error there, and we don't even need a computer to check.

After 1. ..., Qf3, 2. Ng3, f8=Q TCT says white is checkmated, but it's not.. 3. Nxf8 saves white.
